Sanctuary
The bedroom is our sanctuary. It protects not only our belongings, personal items and interests, but also ourselves and our minds. It is a place of vulnerability and sensuality. Our beds welcome us like a close friend, comforting us from the trials of a hard day and allowing us to escape in the relief of sleep. A view into the mind of the inhabitant, the bedroom is a collection of our consciousness, it knows us better than we know ourselves. It sees us cry, it sees us naked, it sees us working, decorating, getting dressed, thinking, sleeping, dreaming. This collection consists of lush, eclectic prints, silhouettes with references to aspects of the bedroom such as curtains, lamps, sheets, and undergarments.
